Cookie crust apple pie

Well buddies, I'm back with some other stuff to share with you. Now it is an apple pie recipe which my mom and I baked today. It's DELICIOUS! (This recipe is for two medium sized pies)

Ingredients:
For the crust:
175 grams of white lard
500 grams of white flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup of water (room temperature)
125 grams of sugar
For the filling:
7 apples, peeled and chopped in thin slices
4 tbs of cornstarch
4 tbs of sugar
1/2 cup of lemon juice
1 1/2 tbs of ground cinnamon

Directions:
Mix the flour, lard, salt and baking powder. In a separate container mix the 125 grams of sugar with the cup of water. After that let the dough sit for 10 minutes at least. Roll the dough into four balls; two of them should be smaller. After you rolled one of the big balls of dough, put it in a pie mould and over it put one layer of apple slices. In a separate container mix the cornstarch, sugar and cinnamon and dust the first layer of apple slices. Repeat three times and sprinkle 1 1/2 tsp of lemon juice on top of each layer. Roll one of the small balls of dough and cover the pie. Make a couple holes with a fork, sprinkle with a little of sugar and bake for half an hour at 300° F or until the edges are brown. Repeat the steps for your second pie. Serve with ice cream and enjoy!!
I hope you liked it, if you're sharing it or copying it give me credit =)
See you the next time!
